Fresh Fork is a no cost, no risk marketing program for farmers.

We offer farmers an alternative marketing solution.  We specialize in bringing customers to the web marketplace.  Our customers are usually not your typical farmers market customers.  In fact, most do not regularly shop farmers markets or buy local.  They choose Fresh Fork because it's easier, offers comparison shopping, and open 24/7 on the web.

We do not set the prices.  You set your own prices and compete with other farmers in our marketplace.  In general, farmers who sell below farmers market price but above traditional wholesale price have the most success.  

Most importantly, we do not guarantee sales.  You may not get a sale in the first week or even the second week.  Sales come from offering customers a consistent supply of product and quality at an affordable price. You have to earn your customers.  Most farmers enjoy repeat sales on our system and sales grow with time (as you build your brand).  

To get started with Fresh Fork:

1) Register for an account at www.myfreshfork.com.  We will then contact you to learn if you are a good fit for Fresh Fork. This usually includes a farm visit and inspection of product and production methods for safety. 

2) List your products online.  At the beginning of the season, add all your products, including descriptions and photos.  Each week, simply update  your available quantity and change prices.  It only takes a few minutes each week.  

3) Receive orders and deliver to pickup location.  Each week, you receive your orders online, including packing slips.  Harvest and package the product in food grade containers.  Take it to your specified pickup location before the designated time (we will tell you when and where that is).  

4) We pay you.  We cut checks every 30 days.
