Also known as Mexican Husk Tomatoes, these are a close relative to Ground Cherries (gooseberries) and are a member of the nightshade family (along with other tomatoes and eggplant.)
Store in your fridge without husks in a ziplock for two weeks or longer. Can be prepared as fresh or roasted salsa, and has a lot of pectin (great for canning and making jams.)
