Italian Sausage, Sweet Corn, Apricots and Peaches
This week I am very excited to offer everyone a 1.5 lb bag of fresh apricots from Eschleman Fruit Farm in Clyde, OH. These small, tasty treats are worth talking about.
We will also feature Ohio sweet corn. I’m very picky about my sweet corn and I think you’ll be impressed by this corn. It is what is considered a “sugar enhanced” variety, so it is very sweet and juicy. I’ll explain more in the newsletter about SE type sweet corns, GMOs, etc etc.
Finally, this week marks the return of my Italian Sausage recipe. This sausage is made at Newswanger Meats in Shiloh, OH from the Berkshire pork from New Creations Farm. They will be in 1/3 lb links, 4 to a pack. I’ve had a lot of last year’s customers asking when the sausage will return, so I have a very large batch being made so there is extra to buy on the back of the truck.
